Dear Arthur, You were the most caring and thoughtful next door neighbour of ours. I never forget when you would visit and I would too come over to see you and Helen. My kids called you a legend and this memory will always be with us of you. May your onward journey be as happy and content as you made your life here. Sarah you have always been a good friend and even helped me set up my new company website. Thank you and I never forgot!! Please remember we are always here for you too. Thank you Arthur for your loving Christmas cards sent yearly. This year was different as we received a card from Sarah instead. I will be raising a glass from across the pond in loving memory of Arthur, and in memory of many happy boisterous hours spent around your kitchen table. Your parents always made me feel like an adopted member of the family. Much love to you all during this time.

We will always remember the wonderful holidays in France with Arthur and Helen, especially the trips to the mountains, wine tasting in the many vineyards, visits to the thermal baths which he loved. It was an honour to have known him over the past 40 years. We will miss him tremendously ❤️
